MEET ALYCE
Blue Basket's founder Alyce has lived in Lake Macquarie for her whole life. She knew from a young girl that this is her little blue dot on the
world stage, and she never wanted to leave!
She has always had a love of washing clothes. Her whole family used to talk about it regularly. She loved all the little blue things. She loved
hanging washing on the line but never really liked taking it off the line and (not to mention that dreaded job of putting it away.
This all changed though when she began her career in the laundry industry. She started enjoying ironing, and drove a delivery van
picking up peoples dirty washing and delivering it back to them in pristine condition.
She takes pride in all the little 'blue things' and enjoys making other peoples lives that little bit easier!

Whether its in the local community, or the local school Alyce is known for her love of laundry, and no-one was really surprised when she said 'I want to work for myself doing what I love'. You will find her most days with a podcast on, iron in hand or with practically her whole body in a washing machine. Then driving miss daisy in her car delivering the goods back to you, the customer.
One thing Alyce does know is she is living the dream with her husband James, son Ollie and labradoodle Chester.
